ART PROGRAMS:
THE ART OF EXPERIENCE (Full for the Spring Session):
Guided by David Giblin, a professional artist, participants explore various forms of artistic expression through the use of mixed media, while also observing and recreating basic forms through still life and figurative drawing. The arts have long been proven to be an effective vehicle for improving social skills, self-confidence, language and emotional well-being in youth with autism. Students are responsible for bringing a sketch book each week, 18 by 24 inches, (available at Opus Art store or most art supply stores) and we will provide the rest.
One our longest running programs, this art class for teens now has some space open. To view a gallery of paintings and artwork from this program, please visit our facebook page.
