'In the Groove' Band Program (Full for Spring Session)

Bring your instruments, tune in and get 'In the Groove' at a weekly jam of energetic and enthusiastic musicians on the Autism Spectrum.

Led by Daniel Martins of 'Spanish Fly Music' a talented musician, composer and performer and David Giblin artist and musician, your child will have an opportunity to grow as a musician and to explore other instruments, have fun jamming with their peers socially, and build confidence. Daniel Martins has been writing and performing music for over 15 years. His talents include everything from album production and song arrangement, to scoring for film, television, and theatre. Classically trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music, his love of composition has expanded to include many other genres. No stranger to the ever changing world of orchestral and pop music, Daniel continues to develop his unique approach to song writing and scoring.

This pilot program was launched in the fall with a teen band program, and after a very successful start we're expanding it to include a junior music group as well.

Ages: 7-11 and 12-16
Dates: Mondays
Seniors: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Cost: $100 - 4 sessions
