Through our collaborative partnership with Tumbleweeds Theatre Company Mosaic offers an in-depth theatre program for children and youth with autism.
A recent CTV News Story on Mosaic's drama program:
The Calling All Characters Drama program explores the world of theatre through the use of improv, mime, sketch comedy, puppetry, and more. Participants engage with their peers while developing a broader understanding of body language, facial expression, motivation, and communication, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and acceptance.
Under the guidance of director Kim Denness-Thomas, The Calling All Characters troupe has performed publicly in a number of full-length productions at venues including the Belfry and Metro Theatres. Click here to learn about some of our past productions.
Please note: as of September 2017 Mosaic will no longer be hosting the theatre programs. The group will however be continued by its original founders, Kim Denness-Thomas and Laurel Duruisseau. For dates and registration information, please click here.
